Born from the cultural need for a hard hitting progressive bop In The National Capital Region, the Kelly Craig Sextet has proven to be one of the most flexible and diverse jazz projects in the National Capital Region. With an emphasis on original material, the Sextet can easily switch to the lightest cocktail music or to the heaviest bop. Even the most discenrning jazz aficionado leaves fully satisfied after a show. The members cross many age groups, two young players in their early 20s, three seasoned veterans hitting the mid and late thirties and an authentic jazz man in his early 70s.
