Norwegian-born/Copenhagen-based saxophonist, Marius Neset, is becoming one to the most talked about newcomers in the European jazz scene. Downbeat Magazine selected Neset as the only European resident for their “25 FOR THE FUTURE” list of young and upcoming musicians destined to shape the future of Jazz. With releases such as Birds (2013), Lion (2014) and Pinball (2015) – Neset is “on his way to being one of the biggest new draws on the circuit,” – The GUARDIAN. Neset was selected as a special guest to perform live at the 2017 Polar Music Prize, honouring winners Sting and Wayne Shorter, which was televised to over 1 million people worldwide.
