FREE Afternoon Concert June 18th in Confederation Park!

To mark the opening of the 35th Anniversary TD Ottawa Jazz Festival, the Kaleidoscope Orchestra – an ensemble created especially for this occasion – will perform in a FREE CONCERT around Confederation Park’s striking fountain on Thursday, June 18 from 4 – 6pm. The first 500 people into the Park get a ballot to win a pair of full Festival passes!

Programming manager and Juno-nominated multi-instrumentalist Petr Cancura has invited some of his pals, great musicians and Festival performers all, to have a true brass jam session.

The Kaleidoscope Orchestra includes:

Mike Essoudry – drums
Ed Lister – trumpet
Nick Dyson – trumpet
Ryan Purchase – trombone
Mike Shultz – Sousaphone
Petr Cancura – saxophones

Lina Allemano (from Toronto) – trumpet
