OLG Stage Bigger than ever in 2022

Besides returning to Confederation Park for the 2022 TD Ottawa Jazz Festival, from June 24 – July 3, the high-octane and ever popular OLG Stage is back greater than ever at Marion Dewar Plaza, situated in front of Ottawa City Hall.

For the price of a Gold, Bronze, Youth, Platinum or Day Pass; holders have the occasion to view 4 shows per day going back and forth between the TD Main Stage (located at Confederation Park) and the OLG Stage.

The urbane and slick 7:30pm Series features artists such as, Juno-nominated trumpet player Tara Kannangara (July 2), Niger’s Tuareg female folk musicians Les Filles de Illighadad (June 29) and Brazilian singer-songwriter Céu (July 3).

For those who prefer late night, the intrepid and provocative OLG After Dark Series at 10:30pm gives everyone the chance to let loose, dance and revel in live performances of the highest artistic calibre. Virtuoso artists such as: R&B fun soul party band Busty and the Bass (June 24); American singer and songwriter Lady Wray (June 25); NY based guitarist and 7-time GRAMMY winner Arturo O’Farrill & the Afro Latin Jazz Ensemble (June 26); Juno Award winning for Aboriginal Album of the Year Digging Roots (June 28); LA hipster and retro punk inspired jazz musician (part of Knower and Vulfpeck) Louis Cole Big Band (June 29); Columbian Canadian singer songwriter Lido Pimienta (June 30); and percussion-based funk, hip hop and jazz fusion group from Texas Ghost-Note – two of the members are originally from Snarky Puppy – (July 3).

Join us for our FREE Block Party, one of the great highlights at this year’s TD Ottawa Jazz Festival! From noon to 4:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday, June 25 – 26, reBoot & reConnect offers 10 free shows at the OLG Stage at Marion Dewar Plaza. An exciting party ambiance awaits you with artists such as Busty & the Bass, Arturo O’Farrill Quintet (both bands performing in free shows, as well as the paid OLG After Dark Series), Julie Corrigan, Sweet Revival and the Ottawa Latin Jazz Orchestra. And that’s not all! Exciting and appetizing food vendors, swing dance, pop up vendors and a parade will culminate in an unforgettable experience in the heart of Canada’s capital.

Go NOLA! On Monday June 27, the Festival celebrates New Orleans with three FREE shows on the OLG Stage that includes vocalist and Juno award-winner Dominique Fils-Aimé to Grammy-nominated Mardi Gras Indian funk band from the Big Easy Cha Wa! There will be two free shows on the TD Main Stage with fellow New Orleanians Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Aurora Nealand & The Royal Roses.

Other FREE shows on the OLG Stage includes the 12pm noon series and Canada Day, July 1st celebrations.
