Orchidae is the experimental-pop project of Yolande Laroche, a Franco-Taiwanese Canadian artist based in Gatineau, Quebec. Soft, hypnotic melodies intertwine with minimal yet meaningful arrangements and at-times psychedelic orchestration. The music reflects her hyphenated identity and themes of alienation.

The Ottawa Jazz Festival will align its Covid policy with any government safety regulations whether from civic, provincial, or federal authorities as they arise.
