Here's to 40 Years of Ottawa Jazz Festival
Let Music Connect Us Again.
The Ottawa Jazz Festival has been exploring and expanding the limits of jazz for four decades. The music has evolved and exploded into a spectrum of sounds that span old- and new-wave jazz; funk, soul, swing, classic, and everything in between.
For eight days in the summer, the transformative, vibrant energy of jazz — masterfully played by musicians from across Canada and around the world — takes over downtown Ottawa. So, indulge your love and curiosity for jazz. Explore new genres. Dance to old favourites. Taste those melodies. Feel that sound. Open your ears.
